Can a Christian question God?

As Christians, our faith is often defined not by times of ecstatic bliss but by our response to crisis moments. Miscarriage. Divorce. Death. Economic uncertainty. All of us have or will face these defining moments.

How should a Christian face these times? To ignore them seems superficial and naive. To cave into them seems pagan and weak. Albert Mohler has some great thoughts on separating our questions about God’s purpose from questions about God’s character in a recent post.
