Silence & Solitude

Mark Driscoll recently posted a very helpful series on creating space for silence & solitude.  Driscoll suggests taking at least an hour a week to answer the most pressing questions, and then taking a solid day each month to work the entire list.  While most of us serving on a staff don’t have the flexibility or freedom to explore a dedicated day, the principle nonetheless is correct.  I especially benefitted from his list of “deep questions” for self-evaluation, which he rates himself by and then translates into action points for improvement:
