I got to spend the week preaching at a camp in Wichita, KS. Other than the depressing number of Jayhawk tshirts I observed throughout the week, I got to spend some time with Nick Thurmond. You can check him out at www.nickthurmond.org. He is an incredibly gifted worship leader, having been on staff leading a college worship service of 700+ students each week at Journey Church in Oklahoma. His CD would be a great buy for a youth pastor, and he would be an excellent camp worship leader. Just wanted to pass his name on to other youth pastors.
Great band resource…

Brandon,
You seem like a rather smart individual — care to enlighten your vast reader population as to the significance of the following numbers: 12 – 27 – 6

12 is the number of KU final four trips…not sure about the others. If you are trying to insinuate something about KU history, why don’t you look up these numbers? 1,948 (most wins in NCAA history); 7 (#national titles, second only to UCLA); and .762 (highest win percentage in NCAA history)…but who’s counting anyways??

12 – 27 – 6 – the margin of victory in the three KU/UK games over the last three years. Your right…who’s counting 🙂
27??? ouch.
Admittedly, Billy G will bring some much needed change to Lexington. But there can never be a “depressing number of Jayhawk t-shirts”

All this arguing. What’s the point? The only # that matters right now is 3. The # of national championships at UF in the last two years (and we’re still counting).
